Ingredients

  • - 1 pound fresh lotus root, peeled and sliced ¼-inch thick

  • - 2 tablespoons mirin
  • - 1 tablespoon cooking sake
  • - 2 tablespoons raw sugar
  • - 1 cup dashi stock
  • - 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • - 2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds
  • - 1 green onion, finely sliced for garnish

Instructions
