- 2 tbsp unsalted butter

- 1 small white onion, minced
•
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed

2. Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add minced onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

3. Add crushed garlic and cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly to prevent burning.

4. Pour in rinsed rice, stirring to coat each grain with oil. Toast rice until it sounds slightly crackling, about 2 minutes.
