2. Whisk eggs in separate bowl until light and frothy. Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla. Blend thoroughly.

3. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Stir until just combined - do not overmix. Some small lumps are perfect.

4. Preheat classic waffle iron to medium-high heat. Spray generously with non-stick cooking spray.

5. Pour 3/4 cup batter into center of waffle iron. Close and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
