  • - 2 medium yellow onions, finely diced
  • - 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • - 1 (15 oz) can kidney beans, drained
  • - 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
  • - 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • - 2 tbsp chili powder
  • - 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • - 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • - Salt and black pepper to taste
  • - 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, freshly shredded
  • - 1/4 cup green onions, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. 11. Preheat oven to 425°F. Spread frozen tater tots on a large baking sheet in a single layer.
  2. 22. Bake tots until crispy and golden brown, about 20-25 minutes, turning once halfway through.
  3. 33. Meanwhile, brown ground beef in a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat until no pink remains, about 7-8 minutes.
