Ingredients

  • - 1 pound large shrimp (16-20 count), peeled and deveined
  • - 3/4 cup unsalted butter, divided
  • - 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • - 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • - 1/3 cup white wine (Pinot Grigio)
  • - 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • - 1/4 cup fresh Italian parsley, chopped
  • - 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • - 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. 11. Pat shrimp completely dry with paper towels
  2. 22. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and 1/4 cup butter
  3. 33. Add shrimp in a single layer, season with salt and pepper
  4. 44. Cook 2 minutes per side until just pink forming a "C" shape

  6. 66. In same pan, add garlic and red pepper flakes, cook 30 seconds
  7. 77. Add white wine, simmer 2 minutes to reduce
  8. 88. Lower heat to medium, add remaining butter and lemon juice
